4130 steel bars are a chromaloy (Chrome and Moly rich) aircraft quality alloy metal. Ideal for general use when welding and moderate tensile properties are required. Our 4130 Alloy Steel carries the term "Aircraft Quality" (AQ) which means it is generally acceptable for use in aircraft parts, but still subject to magnetic particle inspection after machining.
