Our AMS 6415 Round Bar Hot Rolled Aircraft Quality material meets AISI 4340 steel grade specifications in accordance with ASTM International Standards. This grade of chromoly bar has outstanding harden-ability as one of the richer alloy grades. High strength characteristics are attainable throughout the section, making it an ideal grade for crankshafts, landing gear, valves, and axle shaft parts which are exposed to high stress under severe conditions.
